An awakening journey of Yashodhara, the Prince Siddhartha's Wife
In the blissful moment of life, reveling in the joys of motherhood, Yashodhara, Siddharth's wife, sought to immerse herself in the ecstasy of creating a beautiful gift for her beloved Siddhartha. Eagerly awaiting the opportunity to present this precious creation and bask in the warmth of Siddhartha's love, she was savoring every moment. However, in the midst of this anticipation and joy, she received the devastating news of Siddhartha's abrupt departure from the royal palace and family.
The shock of Siddhartha's sudden abandonment shattered the idyllic scene of Yashodhara's happiness. In the wake of this heart-wrenching revelation, her mental and physical being underwent a tumultuous journey—a cascade of emotions, disorders, effects, and transformative changes.
Through the lens of this dramaturgy, we endeavor to unveil Yashodhara's inner emotional odyssey, tracing her path from the anguish of Siddhartha's departure to her eventual emergence as an awakened and resilient woman. The play delves into the intricate layers of Yashodhara's psyche, exploring the profound effects of separation and the strength that arises from adversity.
