Inside/Outside Part IV is a sensory installation and theatre performance in which Ram Hari Dhakal explores his concept of the "Art of Self-Realization." This performance aims to immerse the audience in the emotions experienced by individuals affected by Nepal's civil war. By engaging all five senses, participants will witness the physical and psychological impacts of enduring long-term conflict. In this self-interactive theatrical experience, participants will embark on a journey involving their bodies, hearts, and minds. Through their connection to objects and materials, they will gain insight into the hardships faced by vulnerable individuals. This performance invites the audience to listen not only to words but also to the sound of their own hearts. Rather than observing others, they will be encouraged to reflect upon themselves. By engaging in tasting, smelling, and touching, participants will seek to understand the complex emotions associated with conflicts they may have experienced or heard about.
