Inside/Outside Part III is an immersive sensory theatre performance where audiences will explore a moment of the line between life and death. Inspired by a real-life incident during the Civil War in Nepal, it narrates the emotional journey of a courageous woman.
One day, she found herself being pursued by soldiers. Miraculously, she survived their relentless chase despite being shot from behind. She escaped from that moment and hid in the rhododendron bushes to save herself. Unfortunately, she again got the trap by the soldiers. Determined to stay alive and keep hope in life expectancy and continued struggling to stay alive from soldiers. She spent one hour inside the bushes on the verge of life and death.
What mental struggles did she face in such a harrowing situation at that hour?
This performance vividly portrays her emotions, moods, and the intense atmosphere surrounding her, on that particular day. Through a powerful sensory experience, the audience will witness her mental and physical journey, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges she confronted. That I call it "Art of Self-Realization."
