Ram Hari Dhakal is a theatre artist. Over the years, he has actively engaged in various aspects of theatre, including directing, scenography, and acting. In 2019, he completed his master's degree in theatre at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
During his master's studies, Dhakal delved into sensory activities, paving the way for the development of a unique art form in the theatre and performing arts realm called "Sensory Theatre - Art of Self-realization." This immersive and participatory form of theatre deeply engages spectators, allowing them to perceive stories through their physical and mental experiences, sensory abilities, backgrounds, interests, consciousness, and the social atmosphere.
Since then, Dhakal has established himself as a freelance artist in Norway, contributing his talents and expertise to exploring the vibrant "Sensory Theatre—Art of Self-realization" arts scene. His innovative approach and artistic exploration inspire audiences to examine internally, which creates a mood of empathy.
The human body is an inherently personal and unique entity. Each individual possesses their own distinct power of perception, analysis, and sensing. This capacity is shaped and influenced by many factors, including culture, society, nationality, education, tradition, religion, and the deeply rooted desires within a person. These influences can vary in intensity, with one aspect to another often holding stronger sway over an individual's perception and experience.
